Online searches are full of queries for 'PicoSure' or 'PicoWay' — because these names appear in advertising and on forums. But PicoSure (Cynosure) and PicoWay (Syneron-Candela) are simply brand names for picosecond lasers. They all operate on the same physics. What actually determines the outcome of your removal?

Frequently asked questions

Are PicoSure and PicoWay different technologies?+
No — both are brands of picosecond lasers operating on the same physics. They differ in certain technical parameters (available wavelengths, handpieces), but not in the fundamental principle of pigment removal.
Can I request a specific laser brand?+
You can ask about the device, and a reputable clinic will tell you the model and explain why they use it. The more important question is: does this laser have the wavelength suited to your ink colours and skin type.
Which laser do you use at Klik Laser?+
We use a picosecond laser. Details about the device and parameters are discussed at consultation — we can then assess whether it is optimal for your specific tattoo.
Does every picosecond laser brand remove coloured tattoos?+
Not every one. Removing colours (green, blue, yellow) requires specific wavelengths — 694 nm or 785 nm. Not every picosecond device offers these. It is worth asking about available wavelengths before booking.
What does 'Focus Lens' mean in the context of picosecond lasers?+
It is a specialised handpiece that concentrates energy in micro-spots — used mainly in skin rejuvenation and for stubborn pigment remnants. Not every device has it, and not every treatment requires it.
