What these dots are
They're tiny tattoos — usually single dots of ink — placed on the chest, abdomen or wherever the radiation plan requires. They're deliberately permanent so that, throughout the course of treatment, the beam lands exactly where it should. Once therapy is finished, they no longer serve any purpose.
How removal works
The dots are small, so the treatment is short. We remove them with a picosecond laser — light shatters the pigment and the body clears it over the following weeks. The skin stays intact. Usually a few short sessions are enough; we'll assess it precisely at the consultation, taking the post-radiation condition of the skin into account.
“A steady hand and a real sense of safety in the hands of an outstanding specialist.”
