The most important thing to understand: between sessions your body does most of the work — it gradually clears the ink the laser has shattered. So good aftercare and a healthy lifestyle aren't an extra; they're part of the result. Below we've gathered what to do in the first hours and days, and what to avoid between visits.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the skin take to heal after a treatment?+
Redness and swelling usually settle within a few days, and the epidermis typically heals fully in one to two weeks. The pace depends on your skin, the area of the body and how well you follow the instructions.
Are blisters after the laser a bad sign?+
No, they're a typical reaction to the treatment, not a complication. Don't pop them or pick at scabs — let the skin heal on its own to avoid marks.
When can I return to the gym, sauna or pool?+
Right after the treatment, skip excess heat and soaking fresh skin: sauna, hot baths, the pool and intense workouts. Return to them once healed, following the instructions from your visit.
Can I sunbathe between sessions?+
Better not. Tanned or freshly treated skin is harder and riskier to treat. Between sessions, protect the skin with SPF to limit pigment changes.
Does lifestyle really affect the result?+
Yes. Your body is what clears the shattered ink, so hydration, sleep, movement and avoiding smoking genuinely support the result between sessions.
